Select 1 is for Normal economical Riding, Select 2 for quicker and safer take offs and Select 3 for more torque on steeper Hills.
Our choice of the latest High Tech light weight Lithium Iron Phosphate Batteries in this Model makes for great hill climbing, great acceleration and staying with traffic at 60 even 80 K/P/H. The High Tech Lithium Batteries are not threatening to the environment and have a much longer life span than old style Lead Acid Batteries. With proper battery charging these batteries should last many years with trouble free use.
Of course all this helps the Maintenance Free 3000 Watt 60 Volt DC Brushless Hub Motor work efficiently and on this model there are no engines, gears,belts, chains, hot smelly exhaust, pulleys or oil and fuel tanks which mean no gear changing, no tune ups, no lube and oil changes, no service stations, just more lock able in Scooter storage area.
Also the Timax LP3 Electric Scooters have few moving parts. This coupled with Solid 13 inch Alloy Rims, Twin Caliper Front and Rear Disk Brakes, Comfortable Dual Seat and Telescopic Shocks, plus there are other added Safety Features for extra ease of use and stability and peace of mind.
